October 28, 2011: Michael Shannon Talks Shooting Fight Scenes with Henry Cavill

In a recent interview with Digital Spy, actor Michael Shannon talked about his role as General Zod in Zack Snyder’s upcoming Superman reboot, “Man of Steel” and shooting scenes with the film’s star, Henry Cavill. Here’s an excerpt:
“We do have a fight sequence in the film. We worked on it for a long time, we rehearsed it for a long time, then you shoot it and it’s done. It’s kind of strange to put all this work into something that’s going to be maybe a minute long [on film].”

A new video has emerged from the Vancouver set of Zack Snyder’s Superman reboot, “Man of Steel” featuring Henry Cavill on a helipad surrounded by green screens.

Superman is scheduled to make his return to the silver screen on Friday, June 14, 2013.
