June 30, 2011: Warner Bros. Holding Additional Casting Call for "Man of Steel"

If you were unable to make it to one of the open casting calls for Zack Snyder’s Superman reboot, “Man of Steel” you may still have a chance to appear in the film.
NBC Chicago reports that that an the latest open casting call will take place from 10am – 2pm (CST) on Thursday at the Chicago Fire Museum which is located at 5218 S. Western Ave.
Casting directors will be hiring firefighters and paramedics as paid extras for the “Metropolis Fire Department.”

In a press release from Warner Bros. Entertainment, the Studio has announced that it will once again be offerring a set of limited-edition collectible hotel keycards at this years San Diego Comic-Con.
Smallville fans will be pleased to know that one of the all new keycards featured in the five card set is dedicated to the DVD release of “Smallville: The Complete Series” this October.
Other cards in the set will be used to promote the TV series “Alcatraz” and “Person of Interest,” the digital series “Mortal Kombat: Legacy” and “The Lord of the Rings: War in the North” video game.

This week is all about Superman’s two mothers, Lara and Martha “Ma” Kent. Martha will be played by Diane Lane and the rumors on the internet are that Julia Ormond may be playing Lara. Plus another star has been cast for the film, but no one know what role he’ll play yet.
