March 30, 2011: Superman to the Rescue at Plano's Fox River
The Beacon News (an edition of the Chicago Sun-Times newspaper) reports on how locals received the news that Superman will be flying in to Plano, Illinois to begin filming in August… and let loose a possible spoiler regarding one particular scene in the movie.
- Plano Chamber of Commerce President Rich Healy was elated. Just last week he’d gotten a call from a Warner Bros. front man about a piece of Rotary Club-owned property down by the Fox River (leased to the Boy Scouts) that might have to be cleared for a bus-crashes-in-river scene.

March 30, 2011: Two More Booster Gold "Smallville" Photos
Thanks to DailyBlam.com we have two new photos of Days of Our Lives star Eric Martsolf as Booster Gold for the up-coming episode of “Smallville” titled “Booster”.
- “The episode takes place in Booster’s very early stages where he’s at his conceited best, where he believes he can do whatever he wants. He’s gonna stay for the photo op and bask in the glory of his heroic efforts. [Beetle] wants to stand in the back and not be a glory hound, they are completely opposites of one another.”
“Booster” will air on Friday, April 22nd. “Smallville” returns a week before that with its next new episode titled “Kent”.

March 30, 2011: Amy Adams Talks Lois Lane Role
The LA Times recently caught up with actress Amy Adams while she was attending CinemaCon in Las Vegas and asked her about being chosen for the role of Lois Lane in Zack Snyder’s upcoming Superman reboot:
“I think the role of women in society constantly changes,” said Adams. “And what I love about Lois Lane is that she’s been very consistently strong, successful, independent. I’m very attracted to that. It was a time when women were really – I don’t want to make some grand statement because I know it will come across as a grand statement – but [women were often limited by society then and] what I loved about her was that she was able to be smart and be feminine and I think that that’s something I know I’m going to teach my daughter, that you don’t have to be a man to be powerful. You can be a powerful woman.”
