July 30, 2010: New DC Comics Series a Possibilty

At the Television Critic’s Association press tour, Entertainment President of the CW Dawn Ostroff told reporters that the network is considering adapting another DC Comics superhero for television after Smallville wraps up it’s final season.
“We have started to talk about if there are other DC comic book adaptations,” she revealed. “We haven’t picked anything else up to develop yet, [but] we would like to see something on the air, so we’re going to work on it.”
A spinoff from Smallville is also a possibility.
