SupermanBobHoliday.com, the website dedicated to the only actor ever to portray Superman on the Broadway stage, has recently been updated with more rare and exclusive content.
Some of the new content featured on the website includes:
A print ad for Bigelow carpets featuring a unique photo of Bob Holiday as Clark Kent (and Superman) with actress Joan Hotchkis. (Hotchkis portrayed Lois Lane in the show’s Philadelphia previews, but was replaced by the late Patricia Marand when the musical opened on Broadway.)
Backstage reminiscences (with rare photos) by Bert Gibbs and Wayne Johnston, who – as youngsters – visited with Bob Holiday after the show.
News of Wizard magazine’s recent sidebar interview with Bob Holiday, which looks back at Superman’s 1966 Broadway run amid the challenge today’s producers are having in attempting to adapt Spider-Man as a musical.
